"Do u have a light?" 8)

What do u think about smoking ? Do smokers bother u? Do u smoke?Have u ever tried smokig? If yes, why, if no, why ? :D Here are some questions for this forum...

I for one quit last year... and i am proud to say that it's been a full year since I gave up smoking.. :) I don't want this topic to be smthng like AA... i just want ur answers related to the questions above...

Somehting like this ..
I started smoking from a stupid thing and quickly quit.. and has an ex-passive smoker i can tell u that smokers bother me somethimes... especially when i have a cold or something.. but smoking is not forbidden in my country... u see ppl smoking everywhere... on the street , in cafees ..etc.. i think it is wrong.. fines should be given and the rules should be apllied... Also i feel that ppl are not really all that educated regarding smoking and its hasards..... but, it's also , for many a destressing activity (my case) ... enough from me...

Well, in my country smoking is about to be banned from all public places. I find this disturbing, as most cafés and resturants had own places for smoking (even with walls and doors closing the smokers "behind bars" :P). Smoking is also being banned from public schools, which bothers the hello out of most youth in Norway.

I smoke myself, although I am going to try and quit soon enough. My reasons for quitting are my own, but I am trying to get back in shape. And the cigarette isn't exaclty helping me do that.

Smokers don't bother me. People that are bothered by smokers bother me.

Yeah.. Smoking should be banned from public places... i mean , i don't think it right to bother other persons with the smoke..
But in my country , more specific, in my high-school , u can smoke only in the court yard.. this is not official , but it's like a treaty betwwen smokers and teachers..
Btw , i cheated today, i smoked 2 cigarets..:)

I don't smoke and I don't like people near me to smoke. If you want to smoke, do it somewhere else. I think smoking shouldn't be allowed in public places.

PS: SMOKE = DRUG :bandit:

Why? When smokers have their own rooms in public places, I don't see how they bother none-smokers.

Haha. Or perhaps the smokers will come to their senses and quit?

Errh, no. Bigger chance of rose-smelling cigarettes.

I have never smoked that much before. I think my record would be 20 in one day, but that day involved a lot of drunkness. :P

I do about 10 a day. :chinese:

Hey.

I am too lazy to read the above replies now, might be an answer to my question there.

Anyway, I wanna ask you how the Hell to quit smoking. I am trying for months, but everyone around me smokes, I can't stop. I have a disease, some sort of pneumonia, due to smoking, but that won't stop me. In case you managed to quit, just tell me what to eat and how to act

Thanks in advance :-?

Kiath: Try reading a book from Allen Carr about how to quit smoking. It is really rather simple. I don't remember what the book is called in English, since I have the Norwegian version. But I believe you will understand which book it is if you search.
