Heya everyone, I have a question with the command /list, why sometimes you get disconnected (excess flood) when you type for example /list char* . It depends on your internet connexion? and if *no*, whats the purpose of it?

Some irc clients, like mIRC do not send the command properly, the actual filtering is done by the client, after the entire channels list is retrieved. Use /quote list or /raw list to force the server to filter out results, hence a much shorter list received.

You can put it in mIRC's Tools/Options/Connect/Options...Perform tab, to login automatically when you connect. (Make sure you select Undernet as the Network.)
