Quote: If they cant add this to /list i think it should be added to cservice site at least. Actualy .... an CService admin can see the registered channels , list applications - accepted applications , and there only the officials can see all the channels , and yea its just chat after all ! wanna chat in a channel ? just join ... , do u have lamers ? just ... DISTROY THEM !

/list works fine, that information is ment to be private and will continue to be.

well, if you choose to exclude mp3, warez, xxx, hack, cards and others like this i think it'll work quite fine but still i think you should consider adding that feature to csc website or at least fix the channel search engine.

/list is a very very and i do mean very poor source of information reffering to the channels registered or not on undernet as many many channels have mode +s that means they are not listed
For the more Cservice does not really have a feature on the website as you think. There is no button they press and *POOF* the list of the registered channels appear. They only have the number (keep in mind number does not equal list) of the registered channels, and the number of channels in which X is present at the time they request the information. Because there are registered channels where X parted either because the manager or a Cservice admin requested it to part, or because the channel is inactive and X parted by itself.
So the only list with registered can be found hidden somewhere in the gnuworld databse where it`s been seen only by coders, and there it containts all information about the channels including the access list, ban list, etc.
So implementing a feature that will transfer the list from the gnuworld database to ircu and will filter only the channel names without displaying other information and only the channels that don`t have mode +s, will require a long time to code and many resources.
However gnuworld and it`s coders are always welcoming new ideeas and any help they can get. So my point is, when you come with an ideea, think of ways to put it in practice and if you can help as much as you are able to in developing your ideea.
Things like why don`t you add that to X because i think it`s cool will never be taken into consideration by coders.
