I've looked at the Undernet website a lot, and I do also know some PHP, but I don't know how you get these "direct news", such as "There are currently 999999999 users online", and I want to learn this... Anyone can help me?

I think this is done using a bot that writes the /luser output into a file the website reads.

You can search the web for some HTML and Website designing tutorials there are lots. Just don't be lazy to READ 'em all.
