When a user is added to X, wouldn't it be nice if X could send a notice to the user, if he was online? And if the user isn't online, well, then it could be memorized in X next time the user logged in, sorta like the password notice CService has at present.

And if you think this could be annoying just turn on noadduser.. I know its not something important like the csc website working, but it will improve the quality of irc-life. Just a thought.

That, under no circumstance willl improve a thing. Moreover it creates a gateway to abuse since the noadduser is an option which can be enabled voluntarily and which in this case would be a necessity if someone decides to nag you either with adduser/remuser/adduser in a very short period of time or the same scale with X username logged in emechs (which obviously would mean another type of flood).

Each person can very well do a /msg x info his/her-username and find out if there were additions to his username (if noadduser is OFF). They can visualise them via website too and it can be easily scripted in your IRC client so that it does a /msg x info username on connect and displays in a separate window if there are new accesses present.
