i have recently acquired ircu2.10 off you and installed red hat linux onto my computer running kde. i followed the instruction to ./configure it and it came back with configure: error: can not find sources in . or ..

i had the ircu2.10 directory in the /root path but i moved it thinking it would work in /usr/share/, but it still does the same!

im not thinking of linking to undernet as i only have a 512k connection but i want to experiment and test it because i am a keen learner. i am also in the process of getting used to linux as i have only used it for three days!

any help would be greatly appreciated, i have managed so far to get up to this point so i must be learning

don't compile/install ircu as root, do it as user
