Almost Halloween time!

It's Halloween! It's Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.

Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.

In masks and gowns
we haunt the street
And knock on doors
for trick or treat.

Tonight we are
the king and queen,
For oh tonight
it's Halloween!

Here in the UK we have bombfire night first to remember Guy Falks.

Let's see...

Halloween, you get candy; Christmas, you get candy. -- That's a tie.

Halloween, you get to dress up and make a fool of yourself; Christmas, you get to give and receive presents. Hmmm... Both are fun, but I think I lean toward the latter.

I guess the main reason I like Christmas better is the oft forgotten theme, "Peace on earth, good will toward men." In a world filled with strife, I think that tops candy, costumes, and even the latest over-priced gadget.

That being said, I love my gadgets, a-n-d my candy corn. :wink:

Halloween in Australia has become more popular over the last few years compared to the good old days ... kids are taking advantage of getting extra sweets ... and why not :devil:

It's funny how this post/song lasted for one year

And in many other forums I see everyone sharing their most memorable Halloween story..
Like the weirdest person to open the door while trick or treating, or the one who gave you carrot sticks instead of candy, stuff like that..

Maybe we should use this post to share our favorite Halloween stories!
