I have a question, but I'll warn you, I have little idea of what I'm talking about.

Anyway, there's this one channel I used to go to alot, but one time I went to it and it kicked me out as soon as I entered, and gave me some message about turning on or off (don't remember) some option first before I could come in.

Anybody know what this could be, or what I have to turn on/off? I forget what it said to do..... damn. :(

You have a script which is annoyance.
Type '/remote off' and try to join that channel again.
'/remote off' will stop all your scripts.

Also, ask to the channel operators about your problem.
And use plain mIRC if you don't know anything about your script.

They were probably asking you to turn off "Rejoin channel when kicked", which is located in Options (Alt-O), IRC.

hmmm, I don't have "rejoin channel when kicked" turned on, and I don't think I'm using any scripts, that is if scripts are something you have to get seperately, because I'm just using what I downloaded from the mIRC website.

Is there anything else it might be?

Oh, and I have another question, if you guys don't mind. Is there anyway to connect to two networks at once? Like both Undernet and DALnet, or something.

Maybe you are infected and you're sending messages to other users who join the channel.
Download a virus cleaner program and search your computer, Or join #vh channel, and try to ask them.

Did you download it from mirc.com (mirc.co.uk)? If not, maybe you have an infected version.

If you are using v6.0 or higher (use v6.12) you can connect to several servers with
/server -m irc.serveraddy.com

"The -m switch creates a new server window for that connection and connects to the server"

Yapp.. mIRC 6.14 is very sweet :)
In the new version was added support for SSL.. So now for Undernet is time to make his own server what support SSL ;P Thats is really important.. Many lamers sniff the users X passwords..
Was added multi-byte character encodings and the sjis-jis support.. That must be usefully for the ppl from Asia..
Also a nice new feature is the Sort dialog.. Can be found in the menu.. Window -> Sort.. With that feature you can arrange the windows like you whant and save that.. Also you can make ex.. dcc window be always ahead the channels..
Also for mIRC scripters was a pleasantly surprise the new error handling..

Full changelog you can see here.
