Heya everyone, I have a question with the command /list, why sometimes you get disconnected (excess flood) when you type for example /list char* . It depends on your internet connexion? and if *no*, whats the purpose of it? :)

Some irc clients, like mIRC do not send the command properly, the actual filtering is done by the client, after the entire channels list is retrieved. Use /quote list or /raw list to force the server to filter out results, hence a much shorter list received.

Undernet does not have a NickServ.

To identify on Undernet, the command is:
/msg X@channels.undernet.org login Username Password

You can put it in mIRC's Tools/Options/Connect/Options...Perform tab, to login automatically when you connect. (Make sure you select Undernet as the Network.)
