We have a user using IRCLE for MAC having difficulties to login to X and activate mode X.

Would someone be nice enough to convert these 2 lines into IRCLE commands:

/msg x@channels.undernet.org login <username> <password>
//mode $me +x

Also, is there a feature in IRCLE which would do what the "PERFORM" does in mIRC?

While I have never used the client, the commands should be the same with the possible exception of the double slash and $me. For the second line, have them try:
/mode theirnick +x
